		<description>I&#039;d love to wake up every morning and find I&#039;ve made $X in advertising etc while sleeping, but that never has been the point of my blogging. Blogging promotes me and my company (which is primarily me), and the opportunities it presents are worth more than a few bucks.
Through blogging I was offered two book contracts (40% of the panel is featured in my latest), I&#039;ve sold speeches, consulting and more. And this happened while I was having fun, and blogging is fun to many people, just as some other professional pursuits may be.

I have no problem with monetization, and am even slowing starting to sell a few things directly (e.g. &quot;click here to buy&quot;) from my blog.</description>
