A better solution would be guidelines that help to set the boundaries for what&#039;s appropriate and inappropriate - to help employees know the limits rather than to control them. 

Shel Holtz said it well on his blog the other day when he called for companies to provide guidelines for online activities and to enforce by exception rather than by rigid control.</description>
