Hi Richard,
I've been following your experience over the past week. Two steps forward, one step back...
And I too sometimes have difficulty persuading the lawyers that my views should prevail. ;-)

Hi Joe

here is a critical point you raise:
"you got to start some where rather than wait for the whole house to be designed. "Culture is the key issue in introducing blogs into a corporation. Both ensuring that the culture of blogging and the expectation of the community is understood and ensuring that the corporate culture is able to embrace these expectations and mores"

...and one that takes time (and you can guess). Even with mis-steps, though, think our experience is if you blog get going and bring the culture along with you...build it with you

Thank you so much for taking notes, and making me sound so much more eloquent than I felt this afternoon!

I feel dreadfully disappointed not to have met you today - I'm a friend of Michael O'Connor Clarke, and would have loved to have had a chat with you. Sadly, I'm leaving tomorrow (Weds) for San Francisco. If you're around in the morning and would like to say hello, email me on suw.charman@gmail.com. I have to leave the Westin at about 10.30am, I think.
