		<description>Love the post and agree with so much of it. I do have to disagree, however, with the comment that people should not expect their emails to be answered. Unless I&#039;m writing spam, or I&#039;ve cc&#039;d you, I do expect to get some sort of acknowledgement to an email that I&#039;ve sent you directly. Even if it&#039;s just to say that a response is forthcoming. 

I have noticed that the cc. has lost its meaning on email. Used to be that you would cc. someone on paper correspondence as an FYI. Now, people who are cc&#039;d on emails also tend to pipe in to conversations. Or worst, the sender cc&#039;s people with an expectation they will respond. A return to proper etiquette on that front would also help with managing the work flow.
